The holiday season is just around the corner! Meaning it’s time to start thinking about what gifts you’ll get for your loved ones. It can be difficult to come up with ideas, though, especially when you want to shop sustainably.
Don’t worry! Because Vois has created a Sustainable Gift Guide for your 2021 Holiday Season.
The easiest and simplest way to find and purchase sustainable gifts is through online shopping. Here are some sustainable items you can look for online that make great gifts!

Some amazing online clothing shops are scattered all over the web. Lots of these stores use a portion of their proceeds as donations to environmental and ethical organizations. With this, you can give someone the gift of sustainability in more than just one way.

Super cool and innovative beauty shops out there are reimagining the way we take care of our hygiene and cosmetic needs. These shops are selling sustainable soap bars, eyeshadow, lip gloss, moisturizer, lotion, toothpaste, and even deodorant all over the internet!
A couple of my personal favorites are:
Black Mountain Beauty (skincare essentials)
Roots and Sky (soap made from organically grown herbs)
W3LL People (clean natural makeup)

This is great for your spiritual friends or loved ones who’ve been looking to calm down and destress. Lots of online shops have sustainable incense, essential oils, crystals, yoga mats, meditation cushions, journals, etc. This is an awesome way to encourage people to take care of their mind, body, and spirit!
A couple of my personal favorites are:
Mojo Owl (crystals and crystal jewelry)
Dreamy Moons (journals and affirmation cards)
Mountain Rose Herbs (oils, herbs and spices)
Gifts you can find in store
If online shopping isn’t your thing, thrift stores and vintage stores are great places to find sustainable presents for the holidays.

Many thrift stores have affordable shoes, hats, belts, clothes, as well as plates, mugs, electronics, décor, yoga mats, board games, and much, much more. Just stop by your local Goodwill and see what they have to offer. You might be surprised!

Pretty similar to thrift stores (but a bit pricier) are vintage stores. The stuff you can find in these places are pretty cool. If you have a loved one who has an interest in old, unconventional items, this would be the perfect place to shop.
If you aren’t sure what someone would like, you can get them a gift card for one of these stores. (Or even for an online shop, for that matter.)
This is my personal favorite way to give presents. It’s personalized, thoughtful, affordable, and fun! Plus, it’s a great way to show that you care. Here are just a few ideas of what you can make for someone.

Try not to get bogged down with the stress of holiday shopping this year. It can be fun! Now, get out there and show your loved ones how much you care about them.
Happy holidays and happy shopping from Vois!
