Did you know that conventional cotton uses more pesticides and insecticides than any other single major crop?  Thousands of cotton farmers and their families suffer from pesticide poisoning every year, and even more suffer from chronic ill health, such as cancers and leukemia, neurological diseases and reproductive problems including infertility, miscarriage, and birth defects because of pesticide exposure.  

Everything you find within our 2 DYE 4 Collection is 100% recycled cotton or 100% organic cotton.  Completely free of pesticides and helping to support organic farming and organic fabric suppliers.  In addition, we are proud to donate to the work of non-profit organizations that are also helping to solve this issue.

2% of the purchase price is donated to Pesticide Action Network (PAN) UK or PAN Ethiopia to support their work on creating Farmer Field Schools to help teach farmers working with cotton and other crops how to grow without pesticides.  PAN UK has worked in Africa for more than 20 years, supporting thousands of farmers to grow organic cotton.  PAN UK and PAN-Ethiopia have trained over 2,000 cotton farmers in southern Ethiopia, demonstrating the benefits of good crop husbandry, Integrated Pest Management (IPM) techniques and soil improvement without the use of expensive and hazardous pesticides.
